Mangopay and GiftRound Extend Partnership for Secure Payment Processing and Market Expansion

Mangopay, a European payment infrastructure developer, has prolonged its existing partnership with GiftRound, a gifting platform, to handle all payment flows across the platform. This collaboration will also aid GiftRound in its expansion into the Irish market. Mangopay has processed over £10.5m across more than 75,000 money pots since the initial partnership with GiftRound began in 2018. As part of the partnership extension, GiftRound will use Mangopay’s e-wallet technology, which will offer an additional layer of security and protection for the distribution of funds, as well as enhanced flexibility and scalability for pay-in and pay-out capabilities.

 Mangopay’s API will ensure secure money collection, fraud prevention, and anti-money laundering for GiftRound. GiftRound CEO and founder, Craig Forsythe, expressed his contentment with the partnership and highlighted the importance of a trusted payment provider to maintain the platform’s high levels of growth. 

Recently, Mangopay expanded a long-standing partnership with PayPal, assisting marketplaces in developing dynamic payment experiences and providing PayPal tools to end-users.
